What’s the difference between a G-string and a regular thong? Aren't they the same? Valid question and the answer is ‘no’. For starters, G-strings (sometimes called V-strings) are the skimpiest of skimpy underwear choices. They are useful in body-con dresses and skirts.

The bands of these are slightly thicker than those of G-strings. It will surprise you to know that G-strings are the more comfortable counterpart. This minimal underwear option is designed to sit seamlessly under your clothes. Thongs are great to wear in fitting outfits.

Bikinis are a rather vague term. Typically slim on the sides, and with just enough on the behind to offer some coverage, a bikini is not only very sexy but another great option for a less visible finish. They are perfect to wear in skinny jeans.

They might not be the sexiest looking of them all but they certainly are really practical, especially if you have your period. They’re similar to bikinis, but they offer a more traditional cut and extra coverage. These take up the most space in our upper drawers. Yours too?

As far as underwear goes, boyshorts are one of the more modest options. The covered-up silhouette can often be worn with form-fitting clothes. They work well in cycling and biker shorts too. You could choose them in thick or thin fabrics.
