Anushka Sharma’s last outing, 'Jab Harry Met Sejal’, failed to create magic at the Box Office. Since the movie starred one of the most lucrative superstars of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, and was helmed by ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, it did have a lot of expectations riding on it.
She has finally broken silence on the subject and says, “You want all films to do well, you want people to like your film. But that’s not the case every time. It’s something that you need to be aware of and mindful of and I am. I don’t have unrealistic expectations of myself as an actor. It’s the audience who decides the fate of your films and I respect that. And every time you learn something new from all your films. I completely own my success. I have many successful films in my credit. So, I have accepted the average response to my films.”
Anushka has put the failure of the film behind and is currently concentrating on her upcoming home production, ‘Pari’, which will hit the theatres in 2018. She will also soon begin shooting for Aanand L Rai’s much publicized next, co=starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif alongside her.
