Farhan Akhtar to play Dawood Ibrahim

Miss Kyra | Updated: Oct 26, 2016, 12:25 ISTFarhan Akhtar will be seen playing the role of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in Ashim Ahluwalia’s ‘Daddy’. The movie is a biopic, based on the life of the gangster-turned-politician, Arun Gawli.
Farhan will do a cameo in the film. The reel-life don will be seen helping an escort to kill her boyfriend. The sequence was shot in a Khar bungalow earlier in July. Farhan will shoot another scene at the end of this month to wrap up his part in the movie. Television actress Shruti Bapna, known for her role in ‘Yeh hai Mohobbatein’ is playing an escort. Arjun Rampal plays the role of Arun Gawli. The film is set to release next year.
