Pune experienced the best of fashion and glamour with the latest edition of the Pune Times Fashion Week last weekend. The two day extravaganza began on the 16th
of November 2019. The fashion event saw collections by some of the best fashion designers in the country. Trendy western wear, meticulous Indian wear, a little dose of Indo Western ensembles and celebrity showstoppers, the Pune Times Fashion Week was the event to be for Pune last weekend.
The event was kick started by Deme By Gabrielle. The label that is well known for giving a sexy and a sensuous twist to raging fashion trends, did not disappoint. The label showcased a stunning collection of glam casual wear and snazzy party wear. Super model Diva Dhawan walked as the showstopper for the show.
This was followed up Snuha Silk's collection of rich handloom sarees, jacket lehengas and meticulously embroidered lehengas and sarees. The bright colours and the handloom sarees were thoroughly well-received.
We then saw Kirti Agarwal's kidswear collection of ruffled gowns, skirts and blouses. Child actor Ruhaanika Dhawan and actress Gauri Nalawade walked as showstopper for the graceful collection.
Up next, was a beauty show by the ISASbeautySchool. The show showcased some out-of-the-box and avant garde hairdos.
The next show was a collection of Joy Mitra's signature opulent Indian wear. Rich Indian handloom, intricate prints and hand embroidery, the collection was a true celebration of ethnic wear. Nupur Sanon walked as the showstopper for the show.
The finale show was presented by Pune's biggest couturier, Shruti Mangaaysh. From embroidered-but breezy salwar suits, sexy cholis, heavy dupattas, lehenga skirts for men and embroidered sherwanis, the collection touched upon the biggest trends in Indian fashion with their beautiful craftsmanship. Popular actors from Marathi films, Priya Bapat and Vaibhav Tatwawadi walked as showstoppers for the label.
