It's going to be the festival of lights and colours soon, and even after being all prepped up with the rangoli designs, perfect Diwali dinner plans and outfits for each day, you must have missed out on all the stress that your hair is about to go through in these days. Right from Diwali cleaning and dusting to the pollution caused by fire crackers, our hair goes through a lot of trouble.
We usually forget and care less about our skin and hair since we're in such a hassle to prep and have everything going perfect for this festival. But we must give our hair the care and attention that it needs ans we're here to tell you about how you can keep your hair healthy, soft and silky by doing these little things.
- First things first, wash your hair regularly and also oil them an hour or two before the hair wash. You need to nourish your hair with the right kind of hair oil which will also strengthen them. Oiling your hair will also keep them as well as your scalp healthy and will protect both from damage.
- Don't use any kind of heating or styling tools and products. Give your hair a break from all those chemical and let them breathe during these days. You might as well stop using the heating tools and products from now onwards just to keep them away from extreme damage. If you can resist enough, don't use styling products and tools post Diwali too.
- You can use some homemade hair masks in order to keep your hair healthy and nourished. Spend some time caring for your hair with the help of hair masks and your hair will start feeling amazing during the festival.
- You can also head to the salon and get a hair spa a day before the festival begins. This will be really soothing for your hair and scalp and this will also prep it well for all the stress that the festival has to offer.
