You'll need ¾ cup fresh rose petals, 1/2 cup 80- or 100-proof vodka, 2 1/2 cups distilled water, big glass jar or bowl with a lid, empty glass perfume bottle and 2-4 drops rose essential or fragrance-grade oil. First place the rose petals in the jar and pour the vodka into it. Let this mixture sit for 24 hours and then mix it well. Pour the distilled water into the mixture and let the concoction sit for about a week. After that, mix well so that the petals get pulverised and then drain the mixture into a perfume bottle. Add the essential oil and voila! Your perfume is ready.
