In a case of mistaken identity, over 500 Indians ended up following the WRONG Chris Martin on Twitter. After the 'Global Citizen India Festival', which was attended by over 80,000 people, people took to Twitter to follow the Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. However, it is where all the problems started from! Over 500 people people followed the verified profile of @chrismartin, without realising that the man they have followed is not the Chris Martin.
Overwhelmed by the barrage of Indian followers, Chris Martin has even changed his profile bio to, "NOT IN COLDPLAY. Currently HUGE in India. Above average height for a British man. Podcast http://www.carlandchrispodcast.com . Instagram chrismcomedy Okay Bye."
Considering that the numbers of Indians following Chris have now have shot up to 1000, Chris decided to take advantage of the fact and talk to his pal, Sachin Tendulkar!
