French toast with strawberries

In a bowl, whisk together one egg and 2 Tbsp non-fat milk. Once done, take two slices of bread and dip them into the mixture. Cook them in a non-stick pan until they're slightly brown. Dice up some strawberries and garnish them on the bread. Sprinkle on some powdered sugar for added taste.

Mango, banana and Kellogs special K pancakes

Directions: Blend 1 mango and 1 banana with a little milk in a food processor to get a puree. Add Kellogg's Special K powder, 1/2 cup plain flour, 2 eggs, sugar, 1tsp vanilla essence and 1 cup milk in the above fruit puree. Mix well to get a batter of pouring consistency. Heat a nonstick pan, grease it and then wipe clean with a tissue. Remove pan from the heat. Add 2 tbsp of pancake batter and spread it lightly like a dosa. Return to heat. Cover the pan with a lid. Leave for 2 minutes on medium heat. Uncover and turn it. Let it cook for 1 minute. Total Time: 20 minutes

Directions: Heat oil in a heavy bottomed kadhai. Crackle some mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chili, split gram dal. Now saute some onions until light brown. Add vegetables and keep stirring for 2 minutes on low flame. Add hot water and salt. Add Special K crushed; keep stirring continuously. Stir-fry upma for 2-3 minutes till dry. Turn off the flame and add lime juice and garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves. Serve immediately. Total Time: 20 minutes

Mixed Sprouts Poha

Place poha/beaten rice in a sieve and wash it lightly. Drain the water and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Take a non-stick pan and heat oil on a medium flame. Add mustard seeds, chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté till onions turn light brown. Then add mixed sprouts and sauté for another couple of minutes on a medium flame. Add salt and sugar to the sauté and cook for another couple of minutes. Now add poha and a tablespoon of lemon juice and mix well. Cook it for 2-3 minutes while stirring it continuously to avoid overcooking. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with tea or coffee. Total Time: 20 minutes
