02/15Make bread faster

Make bread faster

Wanting to make homemade pizza crust or bread is a great idea if you know a little microwave hack to do the same in a quicker way. All you need to do is place an 8-ounce cup of water at the back of the microwave. Then, placer the dough in a microwave-safe bowl in the center of the microwave and heat the same on the lowest power for three minutes. Heat the dough for another three minutes and then let it rest for another six minutes. Your dough will have doubled the size and ready to bake.

If your honey at the back of your pantry has crystallized, all you have to do is remove the lid of the jar and heat it in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds. This will make it return to its original texture.

Usually, collard greens are prone to cracking and splitting when they're stiff. Although, they make for yummy healthy wraps. And to get rid of the splitting, you can wash the greens properly and then microwave them for about 10 seconds. But, make sure you don't reheat these leaves in a microwave.

We all know that beans are supposed to be soaked overnight so that you can cook them the next day. But there are times when we forget soaking them the night before and that's when the microwave hack can come to help. You can place beans in a large dish and double to water to every cup of fry beans. Then, microwave it on high until the water is boiling. This could take 12 to 15 minutes. Remove the beans from the microwave and allow it to simply sit for an hour. Once you give it the required time, you can drain the beans and rinse it with cold water.
