21/24Being late

Being late

Being late is one of the worst etiquette mistakes ever! You can't promise someone to meet at a certain time and then reach there 20-30 minutes later and do away with an apology. Although, it's always better to drop in a message if you're going to be late. But then if you know you have to reach by a particular time, always have some extra time in hand for the delays here and there.

22/24Not knowing how to greet someone

Not knowing how to greet someone

This is one major reason why you can be taken wrong as. Should you go in for a hug or just wave a hello? Should you shake hands or peck on the cheek? Knowing how to greet someone is so very important and should be an etiquette that you follow religiously. If you're meeting someone in an office setup, go in for a handshake. You can reserve all the hugs and kisses for people who are rather close to you or accepting of it.

23/24Arriving empty handed

Arriving empty handed

Whenever you're invited over to someone's or if you're supposed to attend a party or if you are going on an unplanned visit, it is always better to bring them a little token of appreciation. Not doing so only sets a bad remark of you as a guest. Be it a casual brunch or a formal event, always bring in a little something for them to remember you as a kind human.

24/24Forget to make introductions

Forget to make introductions

When you're accompanied by someone, be it a colleague or a family member to even a friend, it's very rude if you don't introduce them as well to someone you're about to meet or randomly bump into. The other person feels left out or awkward standing there while the two of you keep talking about things. Hence, it's always better to give the person with you equal priority and introduce them to whoever you meet.
