Although a lot of women are fond of wearing sleeveless attires, many avoid them because of dark underarms. It can hinder your confidence and can make you feel like you're not wearing something appropriate. And so in an attempt to lighten those underarms, women often use products that may not be healthy for their skin, like bleach and medication. Instead, you should be using natural remedies since they work just as well and without any side effects. Here are some natural remedies you can try if you'd like to lighten your underarm area.
Potato juice - Grate a potato and squeeze the juice out of it. Once done, apply that juice to your armpits and let it sit for about ten minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Lemon juice - Mix one teaspoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of water and apply the solution to your underarms. Leave it on for ten minutes and then rinse.
Turmeric - Mix some turmeric with a few drops of lemon juice and apply the paste to your underarms. You can leave it on for about 30 minutes and then you must rinse it off with cold water.
Coconut oil - Apply a few drops of coconut oil to your underarm area. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and then rinse with mild soap and lukewarm water.
Cucumber - Cut cucumber slices and rub them on your underarm area. Leave the juice on for about ten minutes and then rinse.
Remember, these remedies will take at least two weeks to a month to show results, so be patient and give them the time they need. Stay tuned for more updates.
